ABOUT Achari fritters RECIPE

Your guests will be pleasantly surprised with every bite as these fritters have bits of your favorite pickle added to the batter!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups wheat flour
  2. 1 tbsp semolina
  3. 1 medium size onion chopped
  4. 2 green chillies chopped
  5. 1 tsp cumin
  6. 2 big peices of mango/lemon pickle and its masala
  7. Coriander leaves
  8. Salt
  9. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl take wheat flour, semolina chopped onion, green chillies, coriander leaves
  2. Chop pickle peices fine and add it to the bowl, add pickle's masala too. This should be approximately 2 tbsp
  3. Add little salt as pickle is salty too
  4. Add water and prepare thick batter
  5. Deep fry fritters in medium hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve it as it is or with mint chutney.
