ABOUT Mutter Ghugra RECIPE

A perfect snack for all seasons specially Winters, it can be served with chutney or served as a chaat too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Filling..
  2. Green peas boiled 1/2 cup
  3. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  4. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Amchur powder 1 tsp
  7. Green chillies chopped 1-2
  8. Oil 1 tbsp
  9. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  10. For outer covering
  11. Maida 1 cup
  12. 3 tsp hot oil
  13. Salt
  14. Oil for deep frying
  15. Green and Imli chutney for serving

Instructions

  1. 1.In a pan add oil, add jeera and let it splatter.
  2. 2. Add add the dry masalas and add the green peas.
  3. 3. Mix well and saute till the mixture is absolutely dry.
  4. 4. Add salt and mix well.
  5. 5. Cool and make small portions to stuff them.
  6. 6. Make the dough of the above given ingredients.
  7. 7. The dough should not be too stiff.
  8. 8. Make a small puri size, fill the stuffing and give them gujia shape.
  9. 9. Fry on medium fire till golden brown in colour.
