ABOUT Capsicum masala RECIPE

Easy n tasty side dish for rotis which i learnt from my friend shobha kumar.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1) Capsicum_ 2 nos
  2. 2) onion _ 2 medium
  3. 3) gingr garlic paste_ one tbsp
  4. 4) melon seeds or cashews_ 2 tbsp
  5. 5) yoghurt_2 tbsp
  6. 6) turmeric powder_half tsp
  7. 7) redchilli powder_ 1 tsp
  8. 8) garamasala powder_ half tsp
  9. 9) salt as required
  10. 10)oil_ 2 tbsp
  11. 11) Kasuri methi,a pinch
  12. 12) jeera_one tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut one onion n capsicums in cubes,saute them in lil oil for two minutes,n keep aside.
  2. Slice the other onion,saute it till light brown in lil oil along with ginger garlic paste,nd grind to a smooth paste after it cools,adding melon seeds or cashews.
  3. Heat oil,add jeera, when it splutter,add ground paste,all masala powdes, saute well,then add yoghurt,salt mix , add water n make it a gravy consistency,boil well for 2 minutes.
  4. Finally add the sauted onion n capsicums,mix well,add a pinch of sugar ( optional) keep closed n cook for 2 minutes on medium flame,then garnish with kasuri methi, n the dish is ready.
