Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 4 half riped tomatoes
  2. 4 boiled potatoes
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. 1/2 spoon red chilly powder
  5. 1/2 spoon garam masala
  6. 1/4 spoon dried mango powder
  7. 1/2 cup gram flour
  8. 1 pinch carom seeds
  9. Refined oil
  10. 2 onions
  11. 4 clove garlic
  12. 2 cloves
  13. 1 cardamom
  14. 2 spoon cashew paste
  15. 1/2 spoon powdered sugar
  16. 1 cup cream
  17. 1 cup milk
  18. 1/2 spoon black pepper powder

Instructions

  1. Peel and mash potatoes
  2. Add salt,garam masala,red chilly powder and mango powder
  3. Mix well
  4. Cut the upper left of tomatoes and take out the seeds
  5. Stuff the potato mixture into tomato shells
  6. Make a thick batter with gram flour,salt,carom seeds and water
  7. Dip stuffed tomatoes in this batter
  8. Deep fry in hot oil
  9. Peel onions and garlic
  10. Boil onion and garlic in boiling water until it turn soft
  11. Make a smooth paste of it
  12. Heat 2 spoon oil in a pan
  13. Add cloves and cardamom
  14. Add onion paste and saute until it turns dry
  15. The color of onion should not change so that saute on low flame
  16. Add cashew paste and stir for 2 minutes
  17. Add cream and cook until it leaves oil
  18. Add milk,sugar,sakt and black pepper powder
  19. Boil for 2-3 minutes and switch off the flame
  20. For serving cut tomato kofta in halves and dip in hot creamy gravy
  21. Serve with naan or rice
