Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the buns
  2. Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
  3. flour 1 cup
  4. Yeast 1 tbsp
  5. Milk 3/4 th cup
  6. Sugar 1 tsp
  7. Egg 1
  8. Butter 4 tbsp
  9. Filling
  10. green chillies 6 to 8
  11. Garlic pods 8 to 10
  12. Onion 1
  13. Lemon juice of 1/2
  14. Butter 2 tbsp
  15. Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
  16. K

Instructions

  1. Take the yeast,sugar and warm milk and proof the yeast.May take 10 mins
  2. Take the flours,add the yeast and the egg and knead a dough
  3. Make a semi soft dough
  4. Let the dough rise for an hour or so
  5. The dough is beautifully rised
  6. THEECHA
  7. Take the chillies,garlic and the onion and pound them.
  8. Crush it nicely with a mortel so we have a soft paste.Mix this with the butter add the lempn juice .Our filling is ready
  9. Divide the dough into small balls and fill them with the thecha filling
  10. Place each ball in a bundt pan leaving little space in between
  11. Let them rise for the 2nd time,another 30 mins
  12. Apply the left over theecha and sprinkle some coriander leaves
  13. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180D Celsius for for 30 to 35 mins
  14. Let them rest for 5 mins and then invert the pan and remove them
  15. Ready to serve,does not need any condiments but you can serve with some spicy chillies mayonnaise.
