Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2.5 cup Basmati rice soaked in water for 30 minutes
  2. 1/2 onion chopped
  3. 1/2 tomato chopped
  4. 1 cup minced mutton boiled
  5. Water
  6. Salt as required
  7. 1 medium potato chopped into small pieces
  8. 1-2 cinnamon stick
  9. 2-3 cardamom pods
  10. 2 tsp coriander chopped
  11. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  12. Ghee 2-3 tsp
  13. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  14. 1 green chilly
  15. 1 tsp shahi jeera powder
  16. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  17. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala

Instructions

  1. Take oil in a pressure cooker ,add salt,cinnamon and cardamon.Add the potato pieces and fry it.Add turmeric and red chilly powder.Add chopped potatoes.Fry it for some time.
  2. Add the boiled mutton keema and mix it well.Add ginger garlic paste and red chilly powder.
  3. Add the soaked rice over the keema,do not stir it.Put shahi jeera powder,cumin powder and Garam Masala .Mix it well.
  4. Add 3 cups of water and pressure cook on high flame for 6 minutes.Once the steam comes out ,open the cooker and stir it.Add chopped coriander,green chilly and ghee.
  5. Serve it hot.
