Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Poha /flatten rice - 1cup /100 gms
  2. Potato- 2 meduim size ,boiled
  3. Cheese - 2 blocks ,cut into small cubes
  4. OR .. Grated cheese 3 tbsp
  5. Salt - -as required
  6. Black pepper- 1 tsp
  7. Dry fenugreek leaves / methi leaves - 1 tbp
  8. Cornflour / besan - 2-3 tbsp
  9. Green chilli - 1 chopped
  10. Sugar - 1/2 tsp (optional)
  11. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  12. Cumin powder -1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl, add poha and wash throughly for 3-4 times. Then drain water. Keep aside
  2. Now add boiled potatoes into the poha. Then add salt to taste ,black pepper,coriander ,cumin powder ,sugar (optional ). Chopped green chilli , dry fenugreek leaves or methi leaves , cornflour or besan .
  3. Mix everything well.
  4. Divide the mixture into 6-7 equal portion. Press little and make cavity ,put cheese cubes OR 1/2tsp grated cheese centre of the each cutlet..
  5. Now round it and shape like a cutlet.
  6. Heat a pan with 1tbsp oil..place poha cutlets into pan.
  7. Shallow fry both sides until golden brown.
  8. Place it on serving bowl...serve it with mayo, tomato sauce dip or mint-coriander Chutney.
