Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basmati /Bengal ijoun rice 2 cups
  2. Chopped onion medium 1
  3. Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
  4. Raisin 1 tsp
  5. Salt as required
  6. Sugar 1/2 tsp
  7. Refine oil 2tbsp
  8. Milk 2 tbsp
  9. Saffron 1/2 tbsp
  10. Corn 2 tbsp.
  11. Ilaichi, dalchini and loung.

Instructions

  1. Wash rice. Soak for 15 mins. Drain.
  2. Add saffron to the warm milk. Keep aside.
  3. Pour oil in cooker.Add the whole garam masala.Add onion. Add ginger-garlic paste. Fry.
  4. Now add rice. Add salt and sugar. Stir. Add corn. Stir for 1/2 min.
  5. Add Raisins.
  6. Add water. Close lid. After 1 whistle turn off the gas.
  7. Add the saffron milk.
  8. Serve hot.
