ABOUT Sweet Appam RECIPE

Its one of the traditional recipe with less ingredients but very healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 100 g jaggery
  2. 1 Cup water
  3. 1 cup Rice flour
  4. 2 ripe banana ( grinded to paste )
  5. Cinnamom powder
  6. Pinch of salt
  7. 1 tsp baking soda
  8. 1/2 cup chopped coconut

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe banana and keep it in a bowl.
  2. In a pan add water and jaggery. Let it boil well until it melts .
  3. In a bowl ,add rice flour and melted jaggery.
  4. Now add salt , b.p , coconut to it. Mix it very well and keep aside for about an hour.
  5. Heat appam pan and add ghee . Slowly pour the mixture into it.
  6. Close the lid and cook it until golden brown on the other side. Flip it slowly.
  7. Once its done serve it in a plate.
