Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1.5 cups Maida
  2. 1 cup powder sugar
  3. 1.5 tsp baking powder
  4. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  5. Pinch of salt
  6. 100 grams mawa/khoya
  7. 1/2 tsp cardamon powder
  8. 1/3 cup sunflower oil
  9. 1/2 cup curd
  10. 1 cup milk
  11. For cake toppings
  12. 2 tablespoon tutti fruity
  13. 3 to 4 red cherries
  14. 2 table spoon of mix dryfruits

Instructions

  1. Firstly you need a heavy bottom pan, kadahi or pressure cooker which has a lid,I used the heavy bottom pan for baking my cake on gas.
  2. add two cups of salt in the bottom of pan and keep a ring ,close the lid so pan becomes little hot.
  3. Now take a 8 inch cake tin grease with some oil and butter paper & keep aside
  4. For batter sieve all dry ingredients in a bowl with the help of a strainer (Maida, bakingpowder,baking soda,salt) Mix them properly
  5. Take another bowl add all the wet ingredients (curd, oil, sugar) whisk them properly with the help of hand whisk or electric beater,whisk till it light and fluffy
  6. Now take a mixi jar add half cup of milk along with mawa and make a paste
  7. Add this paste to the wet ingredients bowl and mix it well
  8. Now add all the dry ingredients in two batches mix it well with the help of cut & fold method.
  9. Pour all the batter in cake tin garnish with all the toppings, keep the cake inside the pan, close the lid, bake for on low medium flame for 35 to 40 minutes.
