ABOUT Rice vadas RECIPE

These vadas are made from leftover cooked rice .They are super soft from inside and crisp from outside.tea time snack or best to go with sambar

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup leftover cooked rice
  2. Water 2-3tbsp to grind
  3. 1 tbsp curd
  4. Salt
  5. Jeera powder 1/2 tsp
  6. One tsp green coriander
  7. Oil for frying
  8. 2-3 tbsp gram flour
  9. 1 tbsp cornflour

Instructions

  1. Take leftover cooked rice.add water and grind it to fine paste.
  2. We need this consistency.now add corn flour,jeera,coriander leaves.
  3. Next add gram flour,curd,salt mix well.
  4. Wet your hand with water and take small portion
  5. Make hole in centre
  6. Heat oil and fry it at medium flame till it turns crisp and golden from both sides
  7. Serve them with chutney.
