ABOUT Caramelized Bread Pudding RECIPE

This can be made with leftover bread, the older the better. Easy steaming process and a gorgeous bread pudding is ready in spmetime.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Leftover bread slices 6
  2. Milk 1/2ltr
  3. Vanilla custard powder 2tbs
  4. Powdered sugar 5tbs
  5. Brown sug 1tbs
  6. Descicated coconut 2tbs
  7. Mixed colored tutti fruitty 2tbs
  8. Milk powder 1tbs

Instructions

  1. Cut sides of bread slices .
  2. Now grind it to a fine powder
  3. Mix custard powder with 2tbs of milk and keep aside
  4. Take a alminium pan where you are going to steam this pudding, put brown sugar in low flame and swirl the pan.
  5. Let it become caramelize.
  6. Switch off immediately and keep aside to cool.
  7. Now boil milk.
  8. Add custard powder mix to this.
  9. Add sugar and milk powder.
  10. Let it become thick a little.
  11. Mix bread crumbs to this.
  12. Switch off the flame and mix the rest ingredients to this.
  13. Now pour this mixture to the caramelized sugar pan.
  14. Put some water in rice cooker and keep the pan covered with alminium foil.
  15. Let it cook
  16. Once the top is done and cooked, it is done.
  17. Keep aside to cool.
  18. Now invert this to a serving plate.
  19. Serve warm.
