ABOUT Navratna kurma RECIPE

This dish is the combination of 9 fruits, and 9 vegetables, since fruits are seasonal so i have used apple, mango, grapes, pomegranate, pineapple.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 Apple, pear, banana chopped
  2. 1 banana chopped
  3. 4 to 5 seedless black or green grapes
  4. 1 small piece pineapple chopped
  5. I cup pomegranate seeds
  6. 1 cup papaya chopped
  7. 2 to 3 strawberry chopped
  8. 1 kiwi chopped
  9. 1 Onion
  10. 1 tomato
  11. 1 full coconut
  12. 4 to5 green chillies
  13. 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  14. 4 carrots chopped long pieces
  15. 8 to10 beans chopped long pieces
  16. 1 cup peas
  17. 4 to 5 pieces cauliflower
  18. 1 small piece of bottle gourd
  19. 1 small piece of white pumpkin
  20. 1 green cardamon, cinnamon stick, cloves
  21. 1 pineapple flower
  22. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  23. 1 tsp curds
  24. 2 potatoes chopped
  25. Coriander for garnish
  26. 4 to 5 curry leaves
  27. 2 tbsp Oil
  28. 1 tsp coriander powder
  29. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In the cooker add oil add curry leaves, let it crackle. Make a paste onions, tomatoes, coconut, green chillies, full garam masala ,fennel seeds and add to the curry leaves.
  2. Keep stirring till it leaves oil. Add garam masala powder, salt , dhanya pwd, then add 1 tsp curds, coriander mix well then add the vegetables mix well then add salt , water in pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  3. Turn off the gas pour it in a bowl add chopped fruits on top of it and serve.
