Everybody loves mashed potatoes, here I made this finger licking snack using mashed potatoes and mozzarella cheese.It can be a nice party snack,specially for kids.

Ingredients Serving: 2
Boiled potatoes - 2 big or 4 medium
Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 1 teaspoon
Fresh parsley leave - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
Salt to taste
Red chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
Mozzarella cubes - 6-8 (according to the number of potatoe balls)
Oil-1cup for deep frying
Corn flour and flour mixture-1/2cup (mix 4 tablespoons flour with 1 tabledpoon corn flour with 1/2cup water)
Flour - 1/2 cup
Cornflakes - 2 cups (grind to make a fine powder)
Instructions
Take boiled potatoes, mash them properly using your palms
Add salt,black pepper, butter,red chilli flakes,fresh chopped parsley and garlic powder into the boiled potatoes and mix them properly,continuous mash them
Put this mixture in the fridge for 15 minutes
Take out the mixture from fridge
Take some mashed potatoe mixture,put a mozzarella cube in the centre and make a small ball,do all these balls like this way.Keep refrigerate for 15 minutes
Place the flour and powdered cornflakes into two wide plates
Take out the mozzarella stuffed potato balls from fridge
Take one by one potatoe balls and follow the below mentioned process
Coat the ball with the flour,then dip into the corn flour mixture and lastly coat with powdered cornflakes properly. Repeat the process with remaining balls. Cover the plate with aluminium foil or a plate and keep in the refrigerator for 20 minutes
Place oil in a non stick frying pan to cover the base. Heat over on medium.
Add 4 to 5 coated cottage cheese balls pieces (according to the size of your pan) in oil and deep fry on medium flame until golden brown colour.Take them out from pan and place them on absorbent paper.
Cook the remaining pieces in batches.
Serve hot with onion rings and mozzarella sprinkled with red chilli flakes or tomato sauce
