Butter coconut prawns are crispy and fragrant mildly spiced where fried prawns are tossed in butter with garlic, curry leaves and with the toasted coconut that enhance the taste and crunch to the dish..If you are seafood lover you will definitely love this dish

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm prawns cleaned
  2. 2tbsp butter
  3. 3 tbsp dessicated coconut
  4. 2 garlic crushed
  5. 3 birds eye chilli/green chilli
  6. 1 tsp pepper powder
  7. 1 tsp soy sauce
  8. 1/2cup flour
  9. Handful of curry leaves
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the prawns in pepper powder and salt for 15 minutes
  2. Dust the marinated prawn in flour seasoned with salt and pepper then fry it till crisp.
  3. Lightly toast the desiccated coconut until golden brown
  4. In a pan add butter, crushed garlic , curry leaves and chillies saute it then add fried prawns and toss with desiccated coconut..
  5. mix well and serve
  6. You can also roll these prawns in chapati or tortillas with the spread of mayonnaise and serve as roll
