ABOUT Fluffy Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake (No Bake) RECIPE

A divine classic that is absolutely easy to whip up with barely a few ingredients on hand. The only regret being that you have to wait for the next day to dig into it. But let me assure you all, that it is worth the wait. Make this chocolaty, fluffy dessert as a weekend aftermeal beauty for your families to devour this stunning no bake mousse cake happily. Chocolate chips have been used just for the final deco and more gooey look by me. You can very well skip it. Happy No Baking!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Amul dark chocolate bar 150 gm
  2. Marie biscuits or digestive biscuits 30
  3. Butter melted 2/3 cup + 1 tbsp
  4. Powdered sugar 3/4 - 1 cup
  5. Puck whipping cream 3 cups
  6. Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  7. Chocolate chips 2/3 cup

Instructions

  1. Powder the biscuits finely either manually or using a food processor.
  2. Add in melted butter and mix well. Press it down firmly onto a 20" springform pan with the back of a glass. This forms the base of the mousse cake.
  3. Allow it to chill in the refrigerator to set well.
  4. Meanwhile beat whipping cream with vanilla essence until it forms soft peaks. Fold in powdered sugar as desired. Chill it until you melt the chocolate for the mousse.
  5. Melt chocolate with some butter in a microwave or using a double boiler method whichever suits you well.
  6. Let it cool down a bit and then slowly fold in the chilled cream.
  7. Pour this onto the biscuit base in the pan and smoothen out. Refrigerate overnight for the best results.
  8. Cut into triangles and serve it super chilled the next day and see it disappearing within no time at all.
