ABOUT Eggless Chocolate Sponge In Cooker RECIPE

It is a very easy recipe which i made in cooker. This Sponge is specially for Black Forest cake.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Maida 1.5 cups
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. Cooking oil 1/2 cup
  4. Baking soda 1 tsp
  5. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  6. Cocoa powder 3 tbsp
  7. Curd 1 cup
  8. milk 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Sieve maida, cocoa powder and baking soda in a bowl. Keep it aside
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk curd and sugar until well combined
  3. Add oil and essence, mix well .
  4. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to curd mixture and mix until well combined
  5. Preheat tawa for 5 minutes on high flame.
  6. Grease and dust pressure cooker. Pour cake batter and level evenly
  7. Close the lid and remove whistle. Place it over hot tawa
  8. Cook for 50-60 minutes on very low flame until toothpick inserted into center is clean. Slice and serve warm
