Paneer pakoda topped up with lots of spring onion and garlic

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup besan
  2. 250 gms cottage cheese
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
  5. 1/4 tsp carrom seeds
  6. 1 tbsp kasoori methi
  7. 2 tbsp oil
  8. Oil for frying
  9. 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  10. 4 tbsp spring onion chopped
  11. 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Take cottage paneer and cut into long strips . Marinate it with salt and red chilly powder keep aside for 10 min.
  2. In another bowl add besan,salt,red chilly powder,carrom seeds,kasoori methi and water. Make a thick batter.
  3. Heat oil in another wok .take marinated paneer ginger and dip it in besan slurry .cottage cheese should be coated from all sides and then fry it till crisp.
  4. While doing this procedure take another kadai side by side add oil,garlic saute till golden now add spring onion ,black pepper ans little salt mix it well.
  5. After pakodas are crisp and golden in color take it out from the wok. Cut in halves.and mix it with the spring onion mixture.
  6. Serve hot. Enjoy rainy season.
