ABOUT Doodh Poha with Gelatine free Nutella Panna Cotta RECIPE

Fusion Delicious and yummy dessert , easy to prepare. I just love when you serve it in an individual bowl or glass. It creates a party mood and you hear lots of praises from your friends and family.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Nutella Pannacotta-
  2. 2 tbsp. Agar agar powder
  3. 50 ml water
  4. 200 ml full fat milk
  5. 300 ml double cream
  6. 1 cup nutella
  7. 2 tbsp. dark chocolate
  8. For Doodh Poha
  9. 1 cup poha - rice flakes
  10. 3/4 cup Milk
  11. 1/4 cup cream ( optional )
  12. 1/4 cup sugar
  13. 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan add agar agar powder and water. Mix well and turn the heat on. Bring it to boil and stir continuously till you see agar agar dissolves properly. There should be no lumps. Mine took approximately 5-7 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile mix cream and milk in a saucepan and heat it till it comes to a boiling point. Turn off the heat and add chocolate, mix it and add this mixture into agar agar mixture.Mix well, make sure there are no lumps.
  3. Now add nutella and once again mix very well..it should be a very smooth texture.Pour into ramekins or serving bowl or glasses and cover with the cling film and leave it in the fridge to set for minimum 3-4 hours.
  4. I used wine glasses and let it set in a slanting position in the fridge. Now prepare doodh poha
  5. Wash and soak poha for 15-20 minutes.Boil milk and add sugar and soaked poha.Stir it continuously for 8-10 minutes.The mixture will go quite thick.
  6. Add vanilla extract and let it cool to a room temperature. Add 2-3 spoonful ready doodh poha in the nutella panna cotta glass, chill in the fridge. When you are ready to serve, garnish with any fruit or dry fruit. Enjoy !
