Tried to make something new. I added roasted ground peanuts, roasted gram flour, roasted grated Coconut and Jaggery in Hung curd and made Pooran Poli.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Hung Curd 1/2 cup.
  2. Roasted groundnut coarsely ground 2 tbsp
  3. Roasted grated Coconut 3 tbsp
  4. Roasted gramflour 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp.
  5. Grated Carrot 2 tbsp
  6. Kohlapuri Jaggery 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp. ( Chopprd fine or grated)
  7. Cardemom powder 1 tsp.
  8. Nutmeg powder1/4 tsp
  9. Ghee 1/2 cup.
  10. Wheat flour 1 1,/2 cup.

Instructions

  1. Mix groundnuts, roasted gram flour, Coconut to the hung curd. with a spoon.
  2. Do not over beat. Squeeze liquid from Carrot and add.
  3. Add jaggery , Cardamom powder., Nutmeg powder.
  4. Grease your palms with ghee and make balls of desired size . Keep in fridge.
  5. Now make a dough from wheat flour.
  6. Heat a nonstick griddle. Roll a small roti.
  7. Stuff it with Hung Curd ball.. Close the edges .
  8. Roll by dusting some flour on board. Roll with soft hand.
  9. Roast by applying little ghee on both the sides.
  10. Serve by applying 1 tsp ghee ( optional)
