ABOUT Meethi(fenugreek leave) puri RECIPE

Meethi ki puri is crispy and tasty, a delicious breakfast option to be served with some spicy curry on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 cup chopped fenugreek leaves [finely chopped]
  2. 1-1 tbsp ginger, garlic and green chili paste
  3. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  5. 2 cup wheat flour
  6. 1/2 cup semolina
  7. 1/4 cup besan(gram flour)
  8. Salt according to taste
  9. Oil for deep frying
  10. red chili powder - 1 tsp
  11. garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  12. asafoetida - 2 pinches

Instructions

  1. Firstly take a pan heat oil add ginger paste and saute it add cumin seeds, asafaeotida add turmeric powder red chili powder add fenugreek leave and add salt and saute it for 5-7 minutes
  2. Now keep it aside and take a mixing bowl add all types of flour. add fenugreek leaves, add oil 2 tsp, add semolina and add water, required knead a dough.. After kneading rest the dough for 10 minutes
  3. Now take a small part from dough and make a small size of ball like puri and dust some dry flour on the surface and roll it from roller pin in puri shape
  4. Then deep fryi it in preheated oil turn in to golden brown on a medium flame
  5. Meethi puri is ready. serve it with any type of chutney as yo u like
