ABOUT Amritsari Macchi RECIPE

Tangy batter fried fish, a perfect starter for all dinner party occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basa fish cube's - 200 gm
  2. Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  3. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
  5. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  6. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  7. Besan - 1/4 th cup
  8. Carom seeds - 1/2 tsp
  9. Oil
  10. Egg - 1
  11. Salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and pad dry fish pices
  2. Marinate with ginger and garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt with some lemon juice
  3. After 30 minutes, add besan and egg whites and combined all properly
  4. Head oil in kadai for deep frying
  5. Add marinated fish into oil piece by piece
  6. Fry till golden and serve with mint sauce
