ABOUT Jam Samosas.. RECIPE

Jam! One of the most loved thing by kids is jam and what better way to incorporate this in their favourite snack-the samosas. These are not only tasty but also look good. Soft and melt in mouth, these taste heavenly with fresh cream. Try these for your families at iftaar and celebrate the spirit of this festive season in style. Kissan mixed fruit jam is an absolute favourite with my kids and iam sure yours too. Treat your lovely tiny tots to these delectable samosas once and be prepared to whip the next batch very soon again. Because they are gonna love them so much and ask you for more. Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. All purpose flour 1 1/2 cup
  2. Black seeds 1 tsp
  3. Oil 1 tbsp
  4. Milk 1/2 cup
  5. Kissan mixed fruit jam 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Knead a smooth dough out of all the ingredients and keep it covered for 15 minutes on the kitchen platform.
  2. Use water if required while kneading the dough.
  3. Divide the dough into equal sized balls.
  4. Roll a big roti and cut into two.
  5. Make a triangular fold with each and fill up with the jam.
  6. A teaspoon of it will be enough as the jam is too sweet.
  7. Seal the edges properly by pinching to secure them in place.
  8. Make all in the similar way.
  9. Deep fry them in hot oil on a medium high heat.
  10. Serve hot with fresh cream to your kids after school. They will love them for sure.
  11. Also serve them at iftaar to your guests who will definitely relish these lovely samosas.
