This dish is my creation but inspired from RARA Mutton.Its a concoction of mutton keema cooked along with chicken drumstick. Its a spicy, aromatic dish where you can enjoy yummilicious keema with chicken drumstick.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mutton mince or keema 250 gms.
  2. Chicken Drumstick 1 kg.
  3. 4 big onions chopped.
  4. 2 big tomatoes.
  5. 1tablespoon of each of ginger garlic paste.
  6. 1tablespoon of each of Kashmiri red chilli powder and Corriander powder.
  7. 1teaspoon each garam Masala powder and nutmeg powder.
  8. 1/2 cup of yogurt.
  9. 2 tablespoon of fresh cream.
  10. Whole garam Masala about 1 tablespoon.
  11. Turmeric 1teaspoon and salt to taste.
  12. 3 tablespoon of ghee.
  13. 1/2 cup of white oil or olive oil.

Instructions

  1. Take a big wok and heat oil. Then give the whole garam Masala and wait until you get the aroma.
  2. Now add half of the chopped onions. Fry them until they are translucent.
  3. Then put the ginger garlic paste and saute for 5 mins on medium flame.
  4. After that add the minced mutton and toss it well with the Masala.
  5. When the water dries out from the mutton add chopped tomatoes and the powder Masala like corriander, nutmeg and garam Masala.
  6. In a low flame cook all the ingredients so that the rawness goes away.
  7. Then add the chicken drumsticks and toss again for 5 mins.
  8. At this time add 1 tablespoon of ghee and whisked yogurt. In a low flame mix them well.
  9. Stir it nicely so that it gets mixed with the Masala properly.
  10. Put salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and little water and give it a good toss.
  11. Cook them all until the oil separates from the Masala.
  12. Add 2 cups of water and cover with a lid.
  13. When it's cooked completely add the fresh cream and mix it for 2 more mins.
  14. Take a separate pan and heat some ghee and Fry the rest of the onions till its dark Brown and pour this on the chicken and mutton as tempering.
  15. Add little garam Masala and put off the flame.
  16. Dish out by garnishing with some more fried onions.
