ABOUT Tofu patty RECIPE

Tofu is low in calories, but high in protein and fat. It also contains many important vitamins and minerals. This tofu patty is very healthy as it contains lots of vegetables along with tofu.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Tofu 100gm
  2. Carrot 1no cut in medium sizes
  3. Capsicum 1no cut in medium sizes
  4. Cauliflower 4med florets
  5. Corn 2tsp boiled
  6. green peas 2tsp boiled
  7. Onion 1no small chopped
  8. Chopped coriander leaves 2tsp
  9. Besan 2tbsp
  10. Bread crumbs 2tsp for dough and 1/2cup for coating
  11. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  12. coriander powder 1tsp
  13. garam masala powder 1tsp
  14. salt as per taste
  15. Oil as needed for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Assemble all the ingredients. Chop the veggies.
  2. Boil cauliflower, peas, carrot. Strain.
  3. Blend boiled vegetables, chopped capsicum, corn and tofu.
  4. In a bowl transfer the mixture, add besan, bread crumbs, salt, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, all the spices, mix well.
  5. Grease palms, take a portion and give it any shape of your choice.
  6. Roll in bread crumbs.
  7. Shallow fry in low flame till golden brown from all sides.
  8. Serve with any sauce, chutney of your choice.
