Palak Paneer Quiche

Ingredients to make Palak Paneer Quiche

  • 1 & 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Chilled water to knead the dough
  • 200 grams paneer cubes
  • One bunch of chopped spinach
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
  • One medium onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • Crushed black pepper to taste

How to make Palak Paneer Quiche

  1. TAKE FLOUR IN A BIG BOWL OR PLATE, ADD SALT, SUGAR AND BUTTER TO IT
  2. RUB THE BUTTER IN FLOUR TO WITH FINGER TIPS TO ATTAIN BREAD CRUMBS STATE
  3. ADD CHILLED WATER TO MAKE TO THE DOUGH
  4. KEEP THE DOUGH IN A COVERED BOWL AND REST IT IN FRIDGE FOR 1 HOUR
  5. AFTER AN HOUR, ROLL THE DOUGH INTO A SHEET LARGE ENOUGH TO FIT A 9" PIE PAN
  6. CAREFULLY DRAPE THE SHEET ON THE PIE PAN
  7. PRICK THE DOUGH AT MANY PLACES SO THAT IT DOESN'T PUFF UP WHILE BAKING
  8. THEN BAKE IT IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 200 DEGREES FOR 15 MINUTES
  9. MEANWHILE HEAT A TSP OF OLIVE OIL IN A PAN AND ADD GINGER GARLIC AND SAUTE FOR A MINUTE
  10. THEN ADD SLICED ONIONS AND COOK TILL THEY TURN PINK
  11. ADD PANEER AND COOK TILL IT TURNS A LITTLE GOLDEN
  12. ADD SPINACH AND COOK TILL ITS MOISTURE IS ABSORBED
  13. ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
  14. FINALLY ADD CREAM, MIX WELL AND TURN OFF THE HEAT, LET IT COOL A BIT
  15. POUR & SPREAD THE PREPARED FILLING ON BAKED QUICHE CRUST
  16. SPREAD THE FILLING EVENLY AND COVER IT WITH GRATED CHEESE
  17. THEN BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 200 DEGREES FOR 10 MINUTES OR TILL THE CHEESE MELTS
  18. YOUR PALAK PANEER QUICHE IS READY :)
