  1. All purpose flour-270 grams
  2. Eggs-4 large
  3. Milk- 307 grams
  4. Butter- 142 grams
  5. Chopped pistachios
  6. Sugar -400 grams
  7. Vanilla essence -2 teaspoons
  8. Baking powder - 9 grams
  9. Salt - 1/3 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. IN A MIXING BOWL ADD 270 GRAMS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, 9 GRAMS BAKING POWDER AND 1/3 TEASPOON SALT
  2. SEIVE THE INGREDIENTS
  3. TAKE 4 LARGE EGGS
  4. BEAT EGGS IN A LARGE BOWL
  5. BEAT EGGS ON HIGH SPEED FOR 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL THICK
  6. GRADUALLY ADD 400 GRAMS SUGAR AND BEAT UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY
  7. ADD 2 TEASPOON VANILLA ESSENCE AND MIX
  8. GRADUALLY ADD FLOUR MIXTURE TO THE BATTER AND BEAT AT LOW SPEED UNTIL SMOOTH
  9. CONSISTENCY SHOULD BE LIKE THIS
  10. IN A PAN HEAT 307 GRAMS MILK AND 142 GRAMS BUTTER
  11. STIR AND HEAT UNTIL BUTTER IS MELTED
  12. ADD MILK + BUTTER MIXTURE TO THE BATTER
  13. BEAT JUST UNTIL COMBINED
  14. POUR THE BATTER IN A LINED AND GREASED TIN
  15. SPRINKLE CHOPPED PISTACHIOS
  16. PREHEAT OVEN AT 180°C AND BAKE FOR 30- 35 MINUTES AT 180 OR UNTIL TOOTHPICK INSERTED COMES OUT CLEAN
