  1. For halwa....
  2. Soaked badam -1/2 cup
  3. Soaked Khuskhus -1/3 cup
  4. Sugar -1/4 cup
  5. Milk -1/3 cup
  6. Cardamom powder -1/4 tsp
  7. Chopped nuts -1 tbs
  8. Ghee -1/3 cup
  9. For rabdi.....
  10. Milk -1 cup +1.5 tsp
  11. Sugar -1 tsp
  12. Kesar -5-6 Strands
  13. Cornflour -1/2 tsp
  14. Cardamom powder -1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. PEEL OUT THE SKIN OF 1/2 CUP OF SOAKED ALMONDS
  2. PLACE INTO A BLENDER
  3. STRAIN 1/3 CUP OF SOAKED POPPY SEEDS(KHUSKHUS)
  4. PLACE INTO A BLENDER
  5. BLEND IT COARSELY
  6. TAKE OUT MIXTURE IN A BOWL
  7. ADD 1/3 CUP OF GHEE IN A PAN
  8. ADD MIXTURE AND ROAST ON LOW HEAT
  9. KEEP STIR BETWEEN
  10. ROAST FOR 15-20 MINUTES
  11. ADD 1/2 CUP OF MILK
  12. STIR CONTINUE ON MEDIUM HEAT
  13. ADD 1/4 CUP OF SUGAR AND STIR CONTINUE FOR 2-3 MINUTES
  14. SWITCH OFF THE GAS AND ADD 1/4 TSP OF CARDAMOM POWDER AND CHOPPED NUTS...KEEP A SIDE HALWA
  15. FOR RABDI ..ADD 1 CUP OF MILK IN A PAN
  16. KEEP STIR
  17. SOAKED 5-6 STRANDS OF SAFFRON(KESAR)IN 1 TBS OF MILK..KEEP A SIDE
  18. MILK HAS REDUCED
  19. ADD 1 TSP OF SUGAR
  20. ADD 1/2 TSP OF CORNFLOUR IN 1 TSP OF MILK
  21. ADD SAFFRON IN MILK
  22. NOW ADD CORNFLOUR SLURRY...STIR CONTINUE ON MEDIUM HEAT
  23. STIR FOR 2-3 MINUTES
  24. PERFECT CONSISTENCY
  25. SWITCH OFF THE GAS AND ADD 1/4 TSP OF CARDAMOM POWDER...LET IT COOL AND SERVE WITH HALWA
