Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. corn kernels 1 cup
  2. Maize or Corn flour 1/2 cup or required
  3. Green chillies 2-3
  4. onion chopped 1
  5. salt required
  6. Curry leaves
  7. coriander leaves
  8. oil for deep fry

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 CUP CORN KERNELS TO A MIXER JAR, BLEND
  2. BLEND INTO A COARSE PASTE LIKE THIS
  3. ADD 1 FINELY CHOPPED ONION, 2-3 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  4. ADD SALT TO TASTE, MIX WELL
  5. ADD 1/2 CUP MAIZE FLOUR
  6. ADD 8-10 CURRY LEAVES
  7. ADD 2 TBSP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES, MIX INTO A DOUGH
  8. SHAPE SMALLS BALLS OUT OF THE READY MIX, FLATTEN TO FORM VADAS
  9. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  10. FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP ON BOTH SIDES
  11. SERVE HOT WITH KETCHUP
