Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chickpeas flour 2 cup
  2. Semolina 1/2cup
  3. Butter milk 1 cup
  4. Water 1 cup
  5. Eno 1 sachet
  6. Sugar 1 Tbsp
  7. Salt 1 tbsp
  8. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  10. Curry leaves 10-12
  11. Green chilli 2-3
  12. Mustard seed 1 TSP
  13. Oil 1 tbsp
  14. Chopped onion 1

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add chickpeas flour, semolina,salt , turmeric powder ,red chilli powder n sugar mix well.
  2. Now add butter milk and water n continuously stir it n mix until all lumps will be dissolve.
  3. Batter consistency like cake batter or pakoda batter.
  4. Now rest it for 30-40min n keep aside.
  5. Now add eno sachet n mix it . meanwhile take dhokla steamer n put the water n let it hot.
  6. Now take dhokla stand grease oil n put the mixture n steamed it for 25-30min
  7. Check with the help of toothpick if it comeout clearly then it's perfect.
  8. Now take a pan add oil let it heat now add mustard seed, curry leaves n green chilli saute it .
  9. Add chopped onion let it slightly brown n put dhokla .
  10. Saute for 4-5 min , garnish with coconut chutney.
