Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. janhi or torai 3 medium cut into small pieces
  2. potato 1 big cut into small pieces
  3. poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  4. garlic 8-10 cloves
  5. red chilli 2-3
  6. zeera 1/2 tsp
  7. salt
  8. turmeric powder
  9. red chilli powder
  10. oil 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. cut the vegetables into small pieces
  2. make a smooth paste using poppy seeds,red chilli,zeera and garlic
  3. now heat a pan and put oil and the paste
  4. add red chilli powder,turmeric and salt
  5. mix well and cook till oil separates
  6. add vegetables and mix well
  7. cover the lid and cook so that water will come out
  8. cook for another 15 mins till water evaporates completely and vegetables r cooked
  9. if required cook for another 5 mins till oil separates
  10. serve with rice
