Okra coated in spices and chickpea flour and fried to make a crispy starter.
Wash and dry the okra, then slit it lengthwise into 4 pieces.
Take the okra in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix it well.
The okra should be completely covered with the spices and chickpea flour. Set it aside for 10 - 15 mins.
On a tawa heat a little oil and shallow fry the okra, a little at a time till its crisp.
Serve hot as an accompaniment with rice or rotis.
