ABOUT Spanish Omelette RECIPE

Spanish omelette also known as tortilla is a perfect breakfast to start the day with. It simple and quick to make with simple ingredients and power pack dish.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Eggs - 3
  2. Potatoes - 2 sliced in rounds
  3. Onion - 1 sliced
  4. Pepper to taste 
  5. Salt to taste 
  6. Few chopped coriander leaves 
  7. Oil - 2 tbsp 
  8. Water - ½ cup

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes skin and sliced them into rounds. 
  2. Break the eggs in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste and chopped coriander leaves. 
  3. In a pan add water, add the potatoes and par boil them for 3-5 mins. Remove the potatoes and keep aside. 
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and saute till it turns soft.
  5. Add the potatoes and saute till it starts to brown. 
  6. Arrange the potatoes and onions and pour the egg mixture over it and spread the mixture  
  7. Sprinkle pepper and salt to taste, cover and cook on low heat till the bottom starts to brown. 
  8. Flip over gently, cover the pan and cook for couple of mins and take off the heat.
