Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 100 gms spinach , finely chopped
  2. 100 gms thick poha
  3. 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  4. 1 tbsp ginger grated
  5. 1 tbsp dry mango powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil for deep frying
  8. 1 medium sized potato, boiled and mashed
  9. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  10. 2 green chilies finely chopped
  11. 4 tbsp fresh coriander leaves , finely chopped
  12. 1/2 tsp red chili powder

Instructions

  1. Clean and soak poha in water for 10 minutes.Drain excess water
  2. Add poha, mashed potato and spinach in a bowl and mix well
  3. Add turmeric, red chili powder, cumin, salt, amchur, coriander leaves and green chilies
  4. Mix well and check for seasoning
  5. Shape poha mixture into cutlets
  6. Deep fry each cutlet until crisp and golden brown. Drain excess oil over kitchen towel
  7. Serve hot with ketchup or chutney
