ABOUT Baked Masala Green Peas RECIPE

As the name suggests, green peas roasted in an oven with a few spices for that perfectly crunchy tea-time snack. These can even be roasted just with salt alone.The best part is that it can be used in various chaats and snack items that are being served at tea-time. These can therefore be put to multipurpose uses and even eaten on their own. Can be stored in airtight containers and used accordingly upto 2 weeks or even more than that if refrigerated. Healthy idea for sure. Happy Roasting !!!!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Frozen Green peas 300 gm
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  4. Oil 1 tbsp
  5. Chaat Masala 1 tbsp
  6. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  7. Freshly chopped coriander a handful

Instructions

  1. Wash the frozen peas and add them to a mixing bowl.
  2. Add salt, oil and red chilli powder to it.
  3. Mix them well and spread them in a baking tray.
  4. Bake them in a preheated oven on 200° for over 45 to 50 minutes.
  5. Keep stirring them in between baking for one or two times at least to facilitate even baking.
  6. Sprinkle chaat masala, coriander leaves and some lemon juice. Serve
