Grill chicken now become a favourite dish for a healthy diet as it is low in fat(if you cut off the skin before marination) and rich in protien too.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. chicken whole legs -8
  2. First marination:-
  3. ginger Garlic paste -2 tsp
  4. Garam masala -1/2 tsp
  5. lime juice - 2 tbsp
  6. Kasoori methi -1 tbsp
  7. salt - To taste.
  8. Second marination:- (to paste)
  9. Chopped coriander ,mint leaves - each 3 tbsp
  10. Green chillies - 4
  11. Fresh thick yogurt - 2 tbsp
  12. Fresh cream 1-2 tbsp(optional)
  13. olive Oil or any veg.oil - 1-2 tbsp
  14. salt - adjust the taste and add.


  1. Slit the chicken whole legs,rinse well and drain it.
  2. Paste the ingredients given in second marination and keep ready.
  3. In a mixing bowl add chicken pieces,gg paste,garam masala,kasoori methi,lime juice and salt to taste.
  4. Marinate the chicken with above said first marination ingredients.let it sit for 15 minutes. Then add second marination ingredients(green paste.)to the marinated chicken. Keep in the fridge atleast for 2 hours or whole night.
  5. Take the chicken from fridge before half an hour to grill.drain the excess water from the marinated chicken.
  6. Preheat electric or gas oven at 200 degree.
  7. Arrange the marinated chicken in the grill plate.
  8. Grill the chicken pieces one side for 20 minutes and turn again and grill until done.
  9. Carefully take the grilled chicken from the oven and transfer to the hot pack covered with aluminium foil. Brush the grilled chicken with butter is optional.
  10. Ready!!! It will be more attractive when it is served in the parties.
