This is a yummy Indo-Chinese dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ground/Minced chicken 500 gm
  2. 1 egg
  3. salt to taste
  4. Red chilli flakes to taste (optional)
  5. 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  6. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  7. 1 tsp cornflour
  8. 4 tbsp Green chillies 2-3 (slit)
  9. 4 tbsp spring onions with greens
  10. 1 tsp ginger Chopped
  11. oil as required to cook and deep fry
  12. 1 medium sized onion, sliced
  13. 2 cups of chicken stock
  14. 2 tsp soya sauce
  15. 2 tsp chilli sauce
  16. 2 tsp vinegar


  1. In a bowl add chicken, egg, salt, 1 tsp of garlic and pepper, then add 3 tbsp of cornflour and mix properly. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry these manchurian balls. Drain these balls on a paper towel.
  2. Heat a wok, add oil, then put in the garlic, ginger, green chillies and saute till the raw aroma goes off. Then add the spring onions, chopped onions, cook these till it turns pink in colour. Add very little salt, then pour in the chicken stock and sauces, Next, add in the cornflour mixture.
  3. Now add the Manchurian balls and mix it properly. Check the seasoning. Garnish with spring onion greens and red chilli flakes.
  4. Serve warm with Fried rice or Noodles.
