Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Yellow moong dal / lentil - 1 cup
  2. Sugar - 1 cup
  3. Milk - 2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder - 1/4 cup
  5. Raisins - 1 tbsp
  6. Roughly chopped cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
  7. Clarified butter / ghee - 3/4 cup
  8. Whole dried milk / mawa - 1/2 cup
  9. Crushed almonds - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak yellow moong dal /lentil for 3 - 4 hours.
  2. Grind coarsely in the blender without water.
  3. Heat clarified butter / ghee in a non stick pan and add grounded dal in it.
  4. Stir well continuously and roast till it turns brown and gives out the fragrance
  5. Add whole dried milk / mawa and mix well.
  6. In another pan add milk and sugar
  7. Once boiled the milk add in the roasted moong dal / lentil.
  8. Stir continuously cook till thick consistency.
  9. Add cardamom powder raisins almonds,cashew nuts and mix well.
  10. Garnish with cashew nuts,almonds and raisins..
