Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida 4 cups
  2. Suji 1 tablespoon
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Ajwain 1 teaspoon
  5. Crushed black pepper corns 1 to 2 teaspoon
  6. Oil for deep frying and little for kneading dough
  7. Butter milk 1 to 2 cups as per needed for kneading dough

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl take all above mentioned ingredients and mix well
  2. With the help of little butter milk prepare a tight dough and keep aside for some time
  3. Now take a puri size dough and roll a small puri and give vertical cuts as shown in the pic
  4. Now carefully fold the puri by giving twist and seal the ends
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a pan
  6. Deep fry in hot oil on low heat till done and golden in colour . They will pop up like a flower
  7. Ready to serve
