ABOUT Water chestnut pulao RECIPE

This is a yummy , easy and healthy pulao. Lot of flavours are there . Chestnut had vitamins and potassium in it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 10 Chopped chestnuts
  3. 7-8 cashews
  4. 1 Onion
  5. 1 green chilli
  6. 1/2 cup peas
  7. Chop ginger
  8. Coriander leaves
  9. 2 tbsp Oil
  10. 1 tsp jeera
  11. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  12. Hing
  13. 1 bay leaf
  14. 2 cloves
  15. 4-5 peppercorns
  16. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  17. Salt
  18. Haldi
  19. 1 tsp garam masala
  20. Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Chop chestnuts and boil peas
  2. Chop onion in slices
  3. Take cooker and heat oil
  4. Add jeera ,hing and rai
  5. When splutter add cloves bay leaf and peppercorn
  6. Add onion and saute
  7. Then add cashews and stir to fry
  8. Add rice and roast for 1-2 min.
  9. Then add remaining veggies
  10. Add all spices and 2 cup water
  11. In one whistle pulao will be ready
  12. Squeeze lemon juice and garnish with coriander
  13. Serve hot
