Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 200gm button mushrooms
  2. 2onions
  3. 1large tomato
  4. 2/3 crushed garlic
  5. 1/2cup of grated dry coconut.
  6. A piece of crushed ginger
  7. 1tsp kitchen king masala
  8. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Wash the mushrooms till they leave all the dirt.
  2. Then cut them in small pieces. Keep aside.
  3. Chop onions finely. Cut tomatoes finely too.
  4. Heat oil in a Kadai. Add jeera, as it splutters add a pinch of hing. Then saute onions till they are translucent.
  5. Later add crushed ginger - garlic together & again saute till oil separates. Add 1/2 cup of grated dry coconut to it.
  6. Then make a puree of tomato & add it to the Kadai. Let it boil for a while.
  7. Saute again. Add 1 glass of water & mix it. Now add the button mushrooms & cover it with a lid for 10mins on low flame so that it gets cooked.
  8. Later add salt acc. To taste & a tsp of kitchen king masala .A delicious aroma will fill your kitchen. Have it with Paratha or steaming hot rice.
