ABOUT Stuffed Paneer with gravy RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm Paneer
  2. All types of dry spices [cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, ground into a powder] - 1 tbsp
  3. Half cup of water
  4. Peanuts - 1/4 th cup
  5. For the gravy :
  6. Tomatoes 8
  7. Onions 5
  8. Oil for cooking
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. Ginger and garlic paste 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Cut the Paneer into squares.
  2. Grind the peanuts into a coarse powder. Add the dry spice powder into the peanuts.
  3. Stuff the peanuts masala betwwen 2 paneer squares.
  4. Then fry it on a grill pan with little oil
  5. For the gravy :
  6. Grind the onion with the chilly into a smooth paste.
  7. Boil the tomatoes then peel them and make a puree of them.
  8. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a heavy bottomed vessel. Then add the onion paste and saute.
  9. Once the onion is golden brown, add ginger and garlic paste.
  10. After that, add the rest of the dry spices left.
  11. Add the tomato puree, salt and cook further. Cook until the masala leaves oil.
  12. Now add water for the gravy, let this boil. Once this bubbles up, add the stuffed and fried paneer pockets.
  13. Garnish with some cream and kasuri methi.
  14. Eat it with roti or naan
