ABOUT Pressure cooker eggless mango cake RECIPE

A deliciously unfussy and subtle mango flavor to bring together Eggless mango cake prepared in a pressure cooker.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 11/4 cup all purpose flour /maida
  2. 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  3. 11/4 tsp baking powder
  4. Pinch of salt
  5. 2/3cup sugar
  6. 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  7. 3/4 Cup Mango puree
  8. 1/2 refined oil
  9. 1/2 cup milk (if required)
  10. Essence 1/2 tsp
  11. Butter 2 tbsp
  12. Fresh cream 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Sieve flour, baking soda baking powder. Add salt, sugar & cardamom powder in the flour mixture.
  2. Take a bowl beat the fresh cream then mango puree, butter and mix well. Now add the flour mixture and mix gently.
  3. Add flour mixture in little little quantity and beat them if milk is required then add milk.
  4. Grease the aluminum tin with refined oil and Pour into the prepared aluminum tin.
  5. Heat pressure cooker with lid on high for 5mins ( without the rubber gasket and whistle) put sand in it.
  6. Now place the aluminum tin on preheated sand into the pressure.
  7. Reduce heat to low and cook for 40mins. To check, open the lid & insert a toothpick to see if the cake is done. Turn off heat and don't open the lid for atleast 10mins.
  8. After 10mins remove the pressure cooker lid and carefully remove the aluminum tin & cool the cake for 15mins.
  9. Over turn the cake onto a plate and slice.
