Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gms Paneer (cut in cubes)
  2. 2tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  3. 2 tbsp yoghurt
  4. 8 green chillies
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1/2tsp sesame seeds
  7. 1/2tsp mustard seeds
  8. 1/2tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1 tsp Turmeric
  10. 2 tsp coriander powder
  11. 2 tsp tandoori masala
  12. 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  13. 1 tbsp mint thinly chopped
  14. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  15. 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cut into Paneer medium size cubes. Marinate with salt, lemon juice and red chilli powder.
  2. Keep aside for 10 minutes.In the meantime roast the seeds in a sauce pan, allow to cool and then grind to make a smooth flavoured powder.
  3. Combine yoghurt, grounded seeds powder and all the ingredients along with 1 tbsp of oil.Mix very well and add paneer
  4. Mix the paneer thoroughly in the marinade and cover the bowl.Keep in the refrigerator at least for an hour.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease the skewers with some oil
  5. Take out the paneer from the refrigerator and put on room temperature for about 15 minutes. Arrange paneer onto the skewers
  6. Keep the distance between the paneer pieces and divide the paneer into 2-3 skewers.Place in the oven and grill for 30 minutes until paneer turns into nice brown in colour
  7. In between keep checking the softness of paneer with the help of knife or fork.Also apply little amount of oil twice in between
  8. Take out the paneer from the skewers and arrange on the serving plate.Serve hot with spicy coriander or mint chutney.
