While the baby mangoes take their time to turn into juicy, hot, salty tongue tickling pickle here's a recipe that housewives use to quickly prepare instant cut mango pickle to satisfy their cravings.

Ingredients Serving: 15

  1. 4 - Raw firm mangoes
  2. 4 tbsp - Red chilli powder
  3. Salt as required
  4. 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
  5. 2 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
  6. 1 tbsp - Sesame oil
  7. 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  8. 1 tsp - Asafoetida powder

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a pan. Splutter the mustard seeds.
  2. Add chopped mango pieces, chili powder, salt, roasted powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida powder. Mix well,
  3. Cool and store this instant cut mango pickle in a bottle to use daily.
