ABOUT Easy No-bake Chocolate Nutella Pudding RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 0

  1. For the Nutella custard - 2 cups Milk + 1 cup Milk 
  2. 6 tbsp Custard powder
  3. 6 tbsp Cocoa powder
  4. 5 tbsp Sugar
  5. 1 jar Nutella (350gms)
  6. Pinch of salt
  7. For the Coffee decoction - 1/2 cup water
  8. 1/2 tbsp Coffee powder
  9. 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  10. For layering - 2 packet Marie or Digestive biscuits
  11. For whipped cream - 200 ml Cream (chilled)
  12. 2 tbsp Icing sugar
  13. For garnishing - 1 tin Cherries
  14. 1/2 cup walnuts
  15. A few sprigs of fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Making the custard - In 1 cup milk, add in the custard powder, cocoa powder and sugar and whisk to avoid lumps.
  2. In a heavy bottomed sauce pan, bring 2 cups milk to a simmer, add the custard mix. Keep stirring and lower the flame. Add in the Nutella and a pinch of salt, mix to incorporate. Keep the prepared custard aside to cool.
  3. Decoction - Bring half cup water to a boil, add coffee powder and cocoa powder to it. Let it cool.
  4. Whipping Cream - Take chilled cream in a large bowl and whisk it. Add icing sugar and keep whisking till soft peaks form. Keep this in the refrigerator till you start assembling the pudding.
  5. Assembling - In a pudding dish, arrange marie biscuits dipped in the prepared coffee-cocoa decoction.
  6. Garnish your pudding using tinned cherries, walnuts and a sprig of mint. Chill in the fridge for a minimum of two hours and serve.
