ABOUT Pepper Chicken RECIPE

This is one type of chicken stater which is prepared with Black pepper and very less spices.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken - 1/2 kg
  2. Onion - 2 medium sized
  3. Ginger and garlic crushed - 2 tbsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  5. Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp (optional)
  6. Fresh crushed black pepper - 2 tbsp
  7. Curry leaves - 1 Sprig
  8. salt as per taste
  9. Oil - 2-3 tbsp
  10. Tomato - 2 medium sized chopped
  11. Dry chilli - 2 pieces
  12. Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp (optional)
  13. Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken pieces properly and keep it aside.
  2. Then take a pan add oil once hot add the fennel seeds, dry red chilli and sauté it for a few minutes
  3. Now add the curry leaves and sliced onions again and sauté it for few minutes till the onions are transparent.
  4. Then add the crushed ginger and garlic, sauté it for few minutes (5-8 mins) then add the washed chicken and mix it nicely.
  5. Then add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, chopped tomatoes and 1 tbsp of crushed black pepper and mix well.
  6. Then cover it with lid and let it cook for 15-20 mins on a medium flame, till the chicken cooked properly in between Keep mixing.
  7. When it is cooked properly then finally add the garam masala and another tbsp of crushed black pepper and mix it properly till the chicken is well cooked and it becomes dry.
  8. Then switch off the flame, garnished with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice/chapati and enjoy
