ABOUT Indo-chinese Fried Chapati (Use of leftover Chapati) RECIPE

It is the combination of chapati and vegetables. It is some fried chapati in indo-chinese manner. Kids will definitely like it. It is a yummy and healthier option for kids breakfast or evening snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 - Roti or parantha
  2. 1/4 cup - bell pepper finely chopped or sliced
  3. 1/4 cup - carrot finely chopped or sliced
  4. 1/4 cup - zucchini finely chopped or sliced
  5. 1/4 cup - onion finely chopped or sliced
  6. 1 - tomato finely chopped (optional)
  7. 1 tbsp - oil
  8. 1/2 tbsp - lemon juice
  9. 1/2 tsp red chili sauce
  10. 1/2 tsp - soya sauce
  11. 1/4 tsp - ketchup (optional for kids)
  12. For Garnishing:
  13. 1/4 cup - spring onion finely chopped
  14. 1/4 cup - cilantro finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the roti or parantha into roughly small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a wok. Add all vegetables except tomato. Add salt, Stir for 2 minutes. Add Tomatoes. Stir for few seconds.
  3. Add soya sauce, chilli sauce, red chili sauce, ketchup and mix well. Stir for a few seconds.
  4. Add in the chapati pieces and mix well. Stir for 1-2 mins. Turn off the gas. Add lemon juice or vinegar. Mix well.
  5. Garnish with spring onion and cilantro. Your fried chapati is ready!
