ABOUT Maggie Noodle Pakora RECIPE

Veg Noodle Pakora is one fusion snack recipe that is made with either fresh or left over maggi noodles. The noodles when mixed with various vegetables and flavored with taste maker and Indian spices makes some amazing crunchy munchy snack that is loved by kids the most and also makes a perfect snack option in your brunch parties. So if you have plenty of maggi packets left in your pantry and you are looking out for some recipe where you can use them, then your search ends here. Veg Noodle Pakora is an ideal tiffin snack for fussy kids who don’t like to eat vegetables. This crunchy snack feeds them with all the goodness of vegetables as well. Serve it hot with any of your favorite dip or a simple tomato sauce does wonders too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 finely chopped carrot
  2. 1 finely chopped capsicum
  3. 1/2 cup grated or finely chopped cabbage
  4. 1 chopped green chili
  5. 1 chopped onion
  6. 1/2 cup besan
  7. 2 packets Maggie noodles with masala maker
  8. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Empty noodle packets and keep the taste maker sachet aside.
  2. Heat 2 cups water in a pan and boil the noodles. Drain and collect the plain boiled noodles aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl add all the above mentioned veggies along with besan, salt and the maggi taste maker masala.
  4. Dry mix them all with a spoon.
  5. Now add in the boiled noodles and mix nicely with the veggi till it becomes a sticky and a thick mix. (Don't add water)
  6. Heat oil in a wok for deep frying the pakoras.
  7. Scoop out a spoonful of noodle mix and gently shape it into a pakora and drop carefully in hot oil.
  8. Fry the pakoras till golden in color. Collect them on a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.
  9. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
