ABOUT No Bake Banana Split Dessert RECIPE

A classic No Bake summer treat dessert with layer of fresh banana, pineapple and strawberries sandwiched between layer of Graham crackers and whipped cream – cream cheese layer topped with chocolate sauce nuts and cherries. Yumm ain’t it.....

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. banana – 4
  2. Strawberry – 6
  3. Crushed pineapple – 1/2can
  4. Cherry – 10
  5. Whipped cream – 3/4th cup
  6. cream cheese – 250grams
  7. Castor sugar – 3/4th cup
  8. Vanilla essence – 1/2tspn
  9. Almonds/ walnuts – few for garnishing
  10. Chocolate sauce – for garnishing
  11. For the crust:
  12. Graham Crackers/ Marie Biscuits – 2cups
  13. Melted unsalted butter – 1/3rd to 1/2 cup
  14. sugar – 4tspns

Instructions

  1. For the crust:
  2. Make a coarse mixture of Graham crackers or Marie biscuits. Add sugar and mix well. Add melted butter, make sure the biscuits mixture is moist.
  3. Grease the serving tray and spread the biscuit mixture evenly. With the base of a cup press gently to make a firm layer Refrigerate for 20minutes.
  4. Add sugar and whip cream to stiff peaks. Set aside. Make a smooth and creamy mixture of cream cheese. Add vanilla essence. Combine and fold the whipped cream. Make slices of fruits and set aside.
  5. To assemble the dessert.
  6. Spread half the whipped cream - cream cheese mixture on biscuit layer.
  7. Squeeze the excess liquid from canned pineapple. Now arrange a layer of banana, strawberry and pineapple slices evenly.
  8. Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture and cover evenly.
  9. Garnish with finely chopped walnuts/almonds. Also garnish with chocolate sauce and cherries. Refrigerate for 5 hours.
  10. Serve cold.
